Body Types - Are You a Ectomorph, Mesomorph Or Endomorph?
All humans belong to one of three different body types; Ectomorph, Mesomorph and Endomorph. All three body types have their advantages and disadvantages and are determined by your genes. While Ectomorphs are generally very thin, Mesomorphs are naturally muscular and broad-shouldered and Endomorphs are big and need to engage in routine workouts to stay in shape.
Ectomorphs - The biggest issue most ectomorphs have is building muscle. If you are an ectomorph, chances are you’ve been thin all your life. To build muscle you will need to eat lots of good, clean food and work out really hard. You may also want to invest in some supplements like Creatine. The good thing about being an ectomorph is that you can eat anything and not become fat.
Mesomorphs - Mesomorphs are said to be blessed. If you are a mesomorph you don’t have to workout extremely hard to put on muscle and look good. Since you already have a good build, you will just need to workout regularly to keep off the extra pounds stay toned.
Endomorphs - If you are an endomorph and do not work out and stay in shape, you will see the pounds pile on. You can build muscle quickly if you set your mind to it and keep working out and eat right. In order to look good you will have to cut back on the junk food and beer and maintain a good, healthy diet.
Ectomorphs and endomorphs are the most common body types among us. The average human never really fits perfectly in to any one of the three categories and often has a mixture of two or all three body types.
